ANZAC Day 2024

A perfect autumn morning, we arrived around 6:10am and it was unseasonably warm.

As the first light of dawn broke across the picturesque landscape of Dunedin, we gathered with locals and visitors to pay tribute to the fallen heroes:  The brave soldiers of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who left an indelible mark on the pages of history.

The Dawn Service, a time-honored tradition, captures the essence of Anzac Day. Held at the Queen's Gardens Cenotaph in Dunedin. This solemn ceremony featured moving readings, stirring hymns, and a poignant minute of silence.

Afterwards, we headed to Joe's Garage for a delicious breakfast.
